WELCOME TO SPORTS TRAINING EDUCATION
At S.T.E. we promote and encourage multi sport education. We are passionate and enthusiatic
coaches that provide, deliver and train football and mini tennis programmes in North West London.
Our aim and philosophy is first and foremost to
ensure an introductory access to playing football and tennis to all children regardless of background and level of play. The desired purpose is to educate sports in a ludic and inspirational environment.
TennisMEpro
TennisMEpro in Gladstone Park is the initial vehicle for children to enjoy and learn tennis whilst having fun. This opportunity gives young tennis players the basics skills and vital elements using an European teaching template. Here we prioritise tennis coaching philosophy on having fun on the tennis court to develop confidence for a strong acquisition of techniques and skills. We want boys and girls aged 5 (year1) to 11 (year7) to enjoy the game now and for years to come. We want their experience of playing tennis to be positive and are firm believers in giving them all the tools required to develop their tennis regardless of their age and stage. We want as many children on court as possible hence our affordable pricing policy for tuitions and classes. Our enthusiastic coaches strive upon patience and empathy to guide your child towards the road of eventual success.
SCHEDULE
TennisMEpro AUTUMN training sessions start on Tuesday January 3rd 2023. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we run sessions from 4pm-5:30pm first half of the autumn term. It costs £10 to take part. Saturday and Sunday there are two consecutive training sessions from 9:00am till 10:30am and subsequently 10:30am till 12:00pm. Weekend sessions are charged £10 each. We have teams that play in a squad of maximum 8 players. The group sessions cover all skill levels. These are a fun fitness to improve results as much as reactions and level-specific lessons. We cater for boys and girls aged 5 to 11.

AFTER SCHOOL SESSIONS
TennisMEpro training sessions take place in Gladstone Park. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday we run sessions from 4pm-5:30pm. It costs £10 to take part. The group sessions cover all skill levels. These are a fun fitness to improve results as much as reactions and level-specific lessons. We cater for boys and girls aged 5 to 11.
The two groups are as follows:
*Year1 Year2 and Year3 ORANGE ball mini tennis
*Year4 Year5 Year6 and Year7 GREEN ball full tennis
Please contact us with your enquiry or to book your place. We also welcome players from other clubs for after school sessions.
PROGRAMME
Infant Group aged 5-7 ORANGE ball mini tennis
Session of the absolute beginners and new starters. Lesson is focused on fun and coordination of eyes, hands and feet (ABC's). Basic techniques of all shots are taught with a game at the beginning and point play at the end.
Junior Group aged 8-11 GREEN ball full tennis
Players that have come through a beginner’s group or may be attending extra sessions to progress to this standard. These lessons contain more technical work but are still based on fun. There is more emphasis on serve, service return, tactical play and movement as well as fitness to move towards the ball to strike. The importance of serve and service return is also increased. Players endeavors to develop consistency in the play.
Internal and external tournaments
Internal tournaments for children up to 11 years of age will take place on Sunday afternoon and will be arranged by tennisMEpro. Players willing to participate will be required to pay in advance £15.
Players who want to participate in external tournaments will be informed when such opportunity arises.
CAMPS
TennisMEpro camp is designed for girls and boys aged from 5 to 14 year-olds. It is a fantastic opportunity to play tennis whilst making new friends and having great fun. Due to covid-19 the next camp is scheduled for summer 2021. CHILDREN MUST BRING A PACKED LUNCH AND WEAR APPROPRIATE CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR.

Monday 09:00-15:00
Developing the shape of the forehand. Making sure the correct grip is used. Learning to hit the ball from a standing static position and on the move. Learning the ABC, Ability, Balance and Co-Ordination.
Tuesday 09:00-15:00
Developing the shape of the Backhand. Making sure the correct grip is used for double handed. Learning to hit the ball from a standing static position and on the move. Learn the ready position and three step movement exercise.
Wednesday 09:00-15:00
Learn to rally from the baseline using both forehand and backhand. Learn how to recover in between each shot.
Thursday 09:00-15:00
Learn how to hit a forehand and backhand volley along with smashing the ball. Learn the different ways of how to serve.
Friday 09:00-15:00
The Championship Friday Tournament, round robin style competition with end of week presentation along with prizes.
PRIVATE LESSONS
STE can provide private lessons on request for those who want to improve their individual skills. We target specific areas to better one's game and performance. We also work on tactical awareness and overall physical development. Private lessons will be tailored to your needs. The lesson is based upon 60mns of individual work and priced at £45 or a bundle of 10 lessons at £400 and subsequent bundles of 10 lessons at £350. Alternatively we offer prices for smaller groups (up to 4 players).
